the only reason i feel secure is that i am validated by my peers

had an overall decent day. went iphone 3gs hunting with chris and francisco in the afternoon and got veggie grill with everyone at night.

i ended up getting my phone at the mission store. my card didn't work so i had to go home and get more money from my mom, and holding the transaction was only going to complicate things. steve was nice enough to let me leave with the phone and come back to pay for it. i owe him big time. i asked him about reapplying and he said it was a good idea, and if he could put in a good word for me (which he said he would).. so i hope something comes out of that. i like my new phone.

as for veggie grill. i didn't think we were actually going to fill the seats, so crazy. we even had to have people sit at another table because it was so packed. let's see if i can recall everyone: me, holly, andrew, emmie, megan, amber, ryan, thom, aj, andy, fes, travis, nicole, roman, nikki, frank, katie and allie. i was so anxious because no one knew each other! it's a good thing no one from work came because that would've just been even more awkward.

z didn't call or text to say happy birthday. i'm only slightly disappointed, i guess. :(
