i've been listening to jimmy eat world's cover of wham's "last christmas" quite a bit today. i really can't hide... i truly wish it were winter right now, just after thanksgiving when the christmas season is really picking up. i only realized this recently, but i fucking love the holiday spirit. it makes me think of everyone i hold close to me. aside from wrapping presents for the people i love, writing notes in cards, to eating a giant meal with your family members and close family friends (admit it, no one really does this all THAT often), i just love that it makes you think of all the people you care about.
also, i love wearing big jackets/hats, cuddling to keep warm, seeing your breath in the air all day (not just the morning), fireplaces, and rain (when we have it).
i can't wait.
