met the sweetest old man today while making a stop at peet's to say hi to cj and julian. he was extremely encouraging, told me i spoke well.. too bad it doesn't translate on paper. i might just check out the MOLAA in long beach.

i have to be at work in 25 minutes, and i'm not even dressed yet. something smells like burnt toast outside.
it's going to cost me 280 for all my books for fall at the cheapest (on amazon). this is the most money i'm going to have spent on school books since i first started attending ivc (when i didn't know better than to buy from the bookstore). hello, fall...
