i always associated the band nada surf with that tv show the OC. their sound even reminds me of southern california, but they're a NY band. whenever i hear their music, i always feel more optimistic. aside from 2005's the weight is a gift, i never really heard anything else of theirs. they have a song called "weightless" from their 2007 album lucky and it's on one of the playlists we can listen to at work. i always feel a little better when it comes on.
i spent most of the day today at home. sleepyhead and his wife came over in the morning, they left around 3ish. i took andrew to see disney's earth at the uci town center at 420ish, and we got veggie grill and came back home. i've been watching cowboy bebop since. i managed to squeeze sabotage in there. i can finally send it back now.
