is this heat making everyone else feel as crazy as it is me? i'm doing unexplainable shit, my brain just hasn't been consulted with any of the decisions i've made in the past couple of days. i smell like a wet towel.

you know what i'm afraid of? being old. and i'm not talking age old. i'm talking about being an adult. prime example: jr. he's only 23 right now, but he's not young anymore. graduated college, works a 9-5 job, rarely hangs out with his friends, lost interest in the things he used to like (shows, movies, etc.) and bought a kawasaki motorbike.. which is now his pride and joy.

someone please kill me when i become that boring.
i got a manicure for the first time since trabuco's homecoming my senior year. my nails are green.

good girls day out today. but now i am exhausted and it's only 9pm! this is unheard of.

you know i like my boys a little bit older

do you remember the first song you ever slow danced to? with the opposite sex, i mean.

i remember mine, i think i was in the sixth grade. the winter dance at my middle school. it was to nsync's "this i promise you", with a boy named richard hight. at least that's how i think you spell his last name.

i'm watching the music video for say anything's "alive with the glory of love", and i think max bemis is kind of tubby. i'm cool with that.

nothing but wear between all of my everythings

here it is (in no particular order):

finish 3 books that i started but are currently lagging - downtown owl, burning fight and norwegian wood.
sell my textbooks - i've seriously been lagging on this.
drink more water - this could be why i get sick every time i drink. i'm already dehydrated.
clean out my closet - i don't need all the clothes i have, i should give some away..
spend more time in the library - i got more done in the ivc library than anywhere else.
eat out maybe twice a week - a good way to save money and eat healthier.
watch at least one netflix a week - otherwise my 10 bucks a month are going to waste.
get a gym pass - this one is new since i've just been recently unemployed. why not get in better shape? i have no excuse not to now. (8/11)

this list isn't very good. when i think of better things to put on here, i will.

i am going to a uci veggie grill party on tuesday night. i will probably get very drunk with kyla and dean. this is going to be fun.
i just put on this black cardigan that i let josh borrow for the longest time and it smells way too much like him. he had a sweating problem. speaking of smelly clothes, i have some serious laundry to do tomorrow. this is how i know i have too many clothes: going two weeks without doing laundry (or needing to).

on the agenda for tomorrow: dmv, ellie with christina, paperwork at school, dinner with dan lee, hangout with aaron. and possibly beach house in newport with stephanie. i think i told megan i wanted to get dinner too.

some things you may not know about me, i have a strong dislike for green day and the white stripes. feel free to flame me, but that's just how i feel. also, i will never understand how or why people stay friends with the people they knew in high school. do i sound like a jerk? maybe that sounds more bitter than jerk-ish, but i did not like the people i went to high school with. and therefore cannot understand people who are still friends with people they graduated with. my core friends are people i met through being at work or my coworkers. what does that say about me?
Why I hate family get togethers (or at least mine):

Them: "You've put on so much weight."
Me: "Yeah, I guess."
Them: "You used to be so thin."
Me: "The last you saw me, I might have been 14."

Cue my uncle whipping out a picture of me in Laos at the very ripe
age of 9. He says, "You used to be so innocent. You're just a bad kid
now."

More on this later.
